Lost in the wildings – is this the future of our back country?

Recently the South Marlborough Landscape Restoration Trust hosted Minister Potaka (Conservation Minister) and Stuart Smith (MP for Kaikoura) and took them for a trip up into the Branch Leatham catchment. They bravely took up the challenge of battling through a wilding forest to give them an idea of how dense this is and the impacts on our back country hiking experiences as well as natural landscapes and unique biodiversity.
